Ms. Walsh focuses her practice on the representation of clients with serious, complex and catastrophic injuries from nursing home negligence, defective products, automobile accidents, construction accidents, premises liability, and general negligence.
Moreover, Ms. Walsh has devoted more than a decade to representing clients who have been seriously injured by defective pharmaceutical and medical device products, including, Fen-Phen, Vioxx, Avandia, Digitek, Fosamax, Yaz, Actos, Sulzer Hip implants, Depuy Hip implants and transvaginal mesh cases. Ms. Walsh has represented clients injured by defective products in the United States District Federal Courts and New York State Supreme Court, including extensive experience with multidistrict litigation. To that end, Ms. Walsh has obtained multi-million dollar recoveries for her clients.
In these areas, Ms. Walsh has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict for her clients. Ms. Walsh also has significant experience with our firms appellate practice, including arguing several cases before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department. Ms. Walsh’s work in this area has ensured that hard fought lower court victories are upheld.
Ms. Walsh is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Law with a J.D. and a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Management with an M.B.A. Ms. Walsh is a cum laude graduate of Canisius College and a former member of the Canisius College Alumni Board. She is member of the New York State Bar Association and Erie County Bar Association.
Ms. Walsh is admitted to practice in all of the Courts in the State of New York; United States District Court, Western District of New York; United States Bankruptcy Court, Western District of New York; United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
